Ajaneesh Loknath hits a high note with 50th Film UI

Popular music director Ajaneesh Loknath has reached a significant career milestone, marking his 50th film as a composer with Real Star Upendra’s latest project, UI. His musical journey started in 2003 as a keyboard player, gradually evolving into composing for smaller films. His breakthrough came with Kirik Party, which established him as a notable composer not only in Kannada cinema but across other languages as well.

The composer further rise to fame with his work on the 2022 hit Kantara, which earned him international acclaim.

Reflecting on his journey, Ajanesh credits his father as his first music teacher and K Kalyan as his guiding mentor in the film industry. "When I arrived in Bengaluru, K. Kalyan sir was instrumental in guiding me through the nuances of film music. I spent a year with him, learning everything I could. He is like a godfather to me," Ajaneesh shares.

Ajaneesh Loknath sees himself as more than just a music director. He approaches his work with a broader cinematic perspective, aiming to contribute to the overall success of a film. "My dream is to be involved in movies from a holistic viewpoint," Ajaneesh explains. "I strive to create one or two memorable songs for each film. You can look forward to something special from my work in Max and UI," he says.

Beyond his musical career, Ajaneesh Loknath has ventured into film production with CR Bobby. Together, they have launched ABBS Studios Production, their first project being Just Married, featuring Shine Shetty and Ankita Amar.
